MWVGIG is committed to helping those with celiac disease, gluten intolerance/allergy and their families manage life without gluten through support, understanding and knowledge; and to creating awareness in the medical community and general public of the need for early diagnosis and for living gluten-free.

MWVGIG is a branch of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America, a leader in providing support, research-based information and innovative solutions to the problems of gluten-free living.

Salem R.O.C.K. or Raising Our Celiac Kids is a local chapter of the national support group founded by Dana Korn. (The ROCK Group)

Children and their families meet every other month, usually on the second Sunday of the month from 2-4 p.m. The group is free and open to all children and their friends and families who are living a gluten-free lifestyle.
